Nine years of deleting screens

How I got here and how I like to work.

I started out in print and moved to product when I realised I liked the arguing part.

Nine years later I mostly work with teams who have outgrown their first design — too many components, too many exceptions, and nobody quite sure which button is the real one. My favourite projects are the unglamorous ones: naming things properly, deleting screens, writing the doc that stops the same debate happening every sprint.

I work in Copenhagen, usually with one or two teams at a time, and I would rather ship a smaller thing that holds up.

Component libraries teams actually adopt — audited, named properly, and documented so the next designer does not start over.

Mobile product

End-to-end app design from first flow to shipped build, with the edge cases drawn before anyone opens a ticket.

Transitions that explain what just happened — built as a small, reusable language rather than one-off animations.
